| The episode begins one evening at Knapford Sheds. Murdoch, Harvey, Salty, Porter, Rosie, Arthur, Brady, Benjamin, Olivia, and Kylie are in the sheds. Jacob and Sierra are sitting on Murdoch's front bufferbeam. The two look glum. | |
| Narrator | One night, Sierra and Jacob were still feeling homesick. |
| Murdoch | (compassionately) Maybe if you tell us about your home, you will feel less homesick. |
| Rosie | Good idea, Murdoch. |
| Sierra | Well, alright. |
| Arthur | What do you miss about your home? |
| Sierra | Everything. |
| Brady | Okay, but what specifically? |
| Jacob | My family, for one, especially my cousin, Rylie. She was one of my best friends. I remember every Saturday me, Sierra, Caroline, Rylie, my parents, my brother, my grandpa, my two aunts, my one aunt's fiance, my uncle, and Rylie's brother and sister would go to a restaurant in the town we lived in for breakfast and talk about our week's adventures. |
| Harvey | What about Sierra's parents? |
| Sierra | Well, I, uh, never really knew my parents. They both died when I was little and since then, Jacob's parents took care of me. |
| Murdoch | Oh, that's really sad. I'm so sorry. |
| Sierra | Yeah, but I don't really remember them because they died when we were like 3. So, Jacob's parents were basically my own. |
| Jacob | (trying to change the topic) Right...anyways...something else I miss is our tree house. |
| Sierra | Oh yeah, and our climbing tree. |
| Jacob | Yeah, we had some good times in that tree. |
| Sierra | Remember when Cassie fell out and broke her wrist? |
| Jacob | Of course, and then when you and I fell out and broke our ankles and then when Rylie broke her wrist and then Kira, too? |
| Sierra | (happily) Ah, good times, good times. |
| The engines all exchange confused looks before Jacob continues. | |
| Jacob | I wonder if Rylie still has that locket we gave her before we left. (pauses, thinking) That's it I'm calling her. |
| Jacob picks up his cellphone and dials Rylie's phone number. He then holds the phone up to his ear. | |
| Jacob | Hello? |
| Sierra | Put it on speaker. |
| Jacob | Hold on a second, Sierra wants me to put it on speaker. (he taps a button on his phone) Okay, now you're on speaker. |
| Rylie (through phone) | Hi guys! What's up? |
| Sierra | Nothing, we're just feeling homesick and wanted to talk to you |
| Rylie | I miss you guys, too. I really wish I could be there. |
| Jacob | We do, too. |
| Rylie | (thoughtfully) Actually...maybe I can. |
| Sierra | How? |
| Rylie | Tomorrow is the last day of school for the year. Maybe I could come to Sodor for the summer. |
| Jacob | That's a great idea! We can even come pick you up. |
| Rylie | How? |
| Jacob | There's a railway line that runs in an underwater tunnel that goes from Sodor to America. So, we can take Murdoch and come pick you up after school tomorrow. |
| Rylie | Splendid! I'll see you both tomorrow then. |
| Jacob | Bye! |
| Sierra | See you tomorrow! |
| Jacob hangs up the phone. He and Sierra both sigh happily. | |
